It's the perfect size pretty light(for a 8 cell) and extremely good battery life. The battery life is claimed at about 6.5 hours if you're just using it normally, and 2 hours of full-on gaming.

On the left side are an additional USB port, FireWire, HDMI, Ethernet, VGA, and DisplayPort. 
The right side has two USB ports, two headphone jacks, and a microphone jack.
